$100 Tesla Model Y Ride-On Toy Turns Kids Into Really Early Adopters

Say hello to ‘My First Model Y’, a ride-on toy that has the capacity of turning youngsters into future Tesla believers.

Constructed by Radio Flyer, the maker of the small red wagon, also designed with all the Tesla Design Studio, this will be the Tesla for the tiniest drivers. Designed for children as young as 1 and a half to four years older, My First Model Y is thought to provide “the most authentic Tesla experience”, accurately replicating the plan of Tesla’s life-sized Model Y.

Even the 26.57-inch (675-mm) long and 8.38-lbs (3.8-kg) heavy ride-on toy includes equipped with a honking horn, ergonomic seat, black induction wheels with rubber grip ribbon and working steering. Unlike the real thing, however, it does not have electric propulsion.

This is not the Tesla product that Radio Flyer provides. In 2016, the toy maker launched the Tesla Model S for Kids by Radio Flyer, a customizable ride-on for children ages 3-8 that utilizes Lithium Ion battery technologies.

My First Model Y is currently available for pre-order Amazon and RadioFlyer.com for $99.99, with shipping in the United States and Canada beginning October 23.
