2021 Mercedes EQS Is Shaping Up To Become A Sleek Porsche Taycan Rival

Mercedes-Benz will further extend its EQ electric car range with a flurry of models past the already available EQC.

Offerings will comprise the EQA along with EQB SUVs, that will become zero-emission options to the GLA and GLB, in addition to the EQE along with EQS luxury sedans. The former will take on the executive section with space similar to this E-Class, while the latter will provide S-Class-like space inside, in addition to the best.

Place to take on the likes of this Tesla Model S and Porsche Taycan, in addition to the upcoming BMW i7 along with Audi e-tron GT, the EQS was testing analyzing in Germany earlier this week.  The prototype proceeds to wear a thick layer of camouflage and plastic cladding, though we can spot the profile, with frameless windows and the arched roofline.

Based on the MEA (Modular Electric Architecture) system, the EQS is understood to launch with a dual-motor set up, where one electrical motor will power front and another the rear wheels. The most modest variant should launch with well over 400 HP and possibly 310+ miles (500 km) of scope, while the fastest model, probably co-developed together with AMG, might boast almost 600 HP.

All-wheel steering s unknown yet if it will be optional or normal. The lineup will be joined by Additional model variants following rsquo & the car;therefore launch, which is anticipated.
