The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio is already one of the quickest and most exciting cars in the premium compact segment, but we could be in for a deal, FCA style.
The latest rumor is that the Italian automaker is operating on a much more performance-focused version of its BMW M3 fighter, using MoparInsiders citing inside FCA sources. We contacted Alfa Romeo, but they declined to comment, only stating that, “We don’t comment about the presence of any particular version in our events. We’re excited to celebrate this season that the anniversary of Alfa Romeo and we are all committed to observe it in the best way. ”

According to the report, it’s prepared as a restricted manufacturing variant for its newest ’s anniversary that will be celebrated through a series of special events kicking off in Alfa Romeo’s home town of Milan, Italy on June 24.
The car could get the historical GTA moniker appreciating a whopping 620 horsepower, nearly 120 hp over the stock Giulia Quadrifoglio that produces do with 503 HP from the Ferrari-derived 2.9-liter turbocharged V6, which will allow it to be an absolute monster in a straight-line acceleration and on twisty roads.
Now, GTA stands for Gran Tourismo Alleggerita, and ‘rsquo & alleggerita; is Italian for both ‘rsquo & lightened;. The report asserts that the Giulia GTA will shed 20 kg (44 pounds ) over the European-specification version when equipped with the manual gearbox (it’s ’s not apparent what transmission could be offered). It should be interesting to understand Alfa Romeo has attained this amount, although it& rsquo; s through the use of carbon fiber and dropping some products that are unnecessary.
The hot Giulia is rumored to be offered in a restricted number in Europe, and it’s still unknown if and when it will launch in other niches.
We don’t even know about you, but we cannot wait for Alfa Romeo to uncover the Giulia GTA, as this could well be the performance car of the year.
