The anti-Tesla movement in Germany against Giga Berlin may be coming to an end. The protest on January 25 was dissolved after bands made their existence known for another time.

Protesters had arrived at the town of Grünheide, Germany in which Giga Berlin is located on Saturday for the following event aimed at expressing their opposition against the building of the upcoming electric car manufacturing plant. Local residents who have become vocal against Tesla began protesting two weeks back on January 13.

The intention of the group of protesters would be to raise awareness to the forested area that Tesla will be forced to remove so the business could begin constructing its mill. They were concerned about the possible contamination of drinking water and also the possibility that drying the woods with the intention of more easy structure could make the area more susceptible to wildfires.

On exactly the same day as the agendas, Tesla CEO Elon Musk took to Twitter to clear up some perceptions about the approaching German plant. Initially, Musk stated that Giga Berlin wouldn’t use as much water as previously reported and the trees at the factory’s land are intended to be chosen to create cardboard. Tesla’s assignment is to offer energy and transport . While building of the manufacturing plant doesn’t require the removal of trees, the environmental impact of Tesla’s vehicles, in addition to the facility’s design, is very helpful to the deceleration of climate change. “Giga Berlin will build sustainable energy vehicles utilizing sustainable energy, so net environmental impact will be extremely favorable,” Musk stated .
