Market volatility and quality problems might even delay it till 2028

&ldquoWe predicted in a prior report that Apple will start Apple Car at 2023–2025 […] Howeverour latest poll indicates that the present development schedule of Apple Car isn’t clear, and when development starts this season and everything goes well, it will be launched in 2025–2027 in the oldest,” Kuo was quoted as saying at a research note obtained by Macrumors. “Due to changes in the EV/self-driving market and Apple’s high quality standards, we wouldn’t be shocked when Apple Car’s launch schedule has been postponed into 2028 or later. ”

On the other hand, the road ahead might not be as easy for Apple as one would expect from a company with such deep pockets and resources. Kuo notes the domain name of self-driving / electric cars isn’t just about hardware, even as large info / AI is also a huge part of the puzzle here. Kuo notes by now Apple’s automobile is ready for prime time, older players at the section will have gained more expertise in the field of AI, ML and enhanced their self-driving as well as battery technologies as a whole, hence possibly providing a more polished product at a cheaper price.

Filling this gap enormous is some thing that Apple will probably be a significant barrier for Apple. The TFI Securities analyst also raised a cautionary alert for investors who might be somewhat overly eager on Apple’s automobile ambitions and reaping its benefits. Kuo mentions that Apple’s record using a new company (or product) has not always met with an overwhelming success (or at least originally ), and there are a ton of production and supply challenges at the notoriously volatile automobile industry which Apple has to handle early on.
