Aptera Releases A Three-Wheel EV That Doesn’t Need Charging

Well, the good news is that the Aptera EV isn’t entirely hooked on solar, you can even plug it in like any other electrical vehicle, with the firm saying its fast charging technologies can provide a high model charge rate of up to 500 miles of scope per hour. Battery sizes in the many models vary from 25 kWh to 100 kWh.

The futuristic car comes with some pretty decent specs. It’s obtained a lower drag coefficient than the Tesla Model 3 (0.13 compared to 0.23) and at three-wheel drive mode can get from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds. Aptera additionally says its automobiles come with level 2 autonomous capability, including encounter tracking, lane control and emergency braking.

The Aptera is originally being sold as two distinct models — that the Paradigm and Paradigm+ — together with prices ranging from $25,900 to $46,000. The company began taking orders last Friday, December 4, with a non refundable $100 deposit, together with deliveries expected to begin next year.
