Former president Barack Obama has proved to be the most honored man in the world in a study comprising 45,000 people from 42 states and territories.
Obama won hearts during his period in the Oval Office in 2009-2017, and he’s only become more adored since. Whether to his values, his adoration for his wife Michelle, his bromance together with Vice President Joe Biden or simply his overall personality, Obama is encouraged by people around the world, and his fans make sure you show it.
The poll, conducted by statistics firm YouGov, has been run every year as 2014, however this season ’s study had the largest-ever number of interviewees.

YouGov asked participants whether they respect the figure whatsoever, and then whether they’re the figure that the respondent admires the most. Each state ’s results in the global compilation will also be weighted to represent the country’s population dimension.
Results revealed that for the first time in the survey ’s heritage, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates was not on top of list, having been deposed by Obama following six long years.
Gates didn’t fall too much however, slipping to second location. He was followed by Chinese president Xi Jinping in next location, Indian prime minister Narendra Modi in fourth and Jackie Chan in fifth in the listing of the best 20.

Obama placed far above the current president of the United States, with Donald Trump dropping one place to 15th.
Obama topped the international listing in 22 of the 42 states and territories surveyed, such as the USA. Trump saw success in the US, in which he arrived in second place, in addition to in South Africa and in Vietnam, in which he placed third for the two.
Trump only ranks before Obama in one state: Russia. There, Trump placed , whereas Obama arrived in fifteenth.
