The world of electric vehicles is warming up and despite being a revhead at the truest sense, there are some EVs which do tickle the fancy of Top Gear’therefore Chris Harris.

The very first video featured here is your journalist’s fast electric vehicle buying guide. It starts out using EVs priced below the pound;30,000 ($41,000) markers and includes the Mazda MX-30, Honda e, Seat Mii Electric, and the funky e-208 in Peugeot. According to Harris, it is the e-208 that’s the choice of the bunch since it combines impressive selection with appealing styling.

The second group is dedicated to EVs priced below £50,000 ($68,910). To begin is the Polestar 2, a car that Harris says pushes greater than a Tesla while using a superior interior. It is let down by the charging network, nonetheless. Next up is your VW ID.3, a car which Harris believes as a brand new Golf, meaning that he doesn’t find it that exciting. The journalist also isn’t even a enormous fan of the Ford Mustang Mach-E but he does enjoy the Tesla Model 3, saying it is the EV to purchase for pound & under;50,000.

The final class is for EVs priced at over £50,000, featuring the Mercedes-Benz EQC, Volvo XC40 Recharge, Audi e-tron, and also the Porsche Taycan. Unsurprisingly, it is the Taycan that has got the thumbs up.

As for the second video, it features Harris speaking with Top Gear Magazine’s Jack Rix about all things EVs, in particular the upgraded Tesla Model S and also its own controversial yoke steering wheel.
