Designers, Creators and Makers Shall Inherit the Future

A bad trend in Style:

You can’t open it, you can’t fuck with it, you can’t mend it (yourself), you can’t change or change it.

This Is a Result of the genius and tyranny of Steve Jobs (much to the distress of Steve Wozniak). Wozniak wanted to make Apple apparatus that could be changed, modified, and expanded. Steve Jobs didn’t. The philosophy of Steve Jobs:

The users are dumb and will fuck things up.

Now Steve Jobs is partially right. There are a great deal of people like your mom and my mom that just need a thing “that functions ”. But perhaps for other people such as me and you (we’ve got the hacker ethos) — we’d faaaar prefer having supreme control, versatility, modificability, and also the capacity to hackalter, change, alter, and add (or remove) to things! Perhaps this is why I don’t need a Tesla:

With a Tesla, you can’t change and change it.

The Tesla is definitely a work of art. But would you rather purchase a work of art, or create YOUR OWN function of art? I’d choose the latter. This Is the Reason social networking can also be lame:

On Facebook, Instagram, etc … you can’t change and modify your profile and account just how *YOU* need it to be. You can change fundamental stuff such as your profile image or anything … however that’s basic and boring.
