The world-famous – and famously lethal – Isle of Man TT race is going on this week, and together with the gas superbike races there’therefore an electric-only TT Zero course racing in its fifth season.
Inside This year’therefore rush, Michael Rutter and Team Mugen put a brand fresh electric superbike lap record for the Program, using a 121.91mph (196.2km/h) lap in 18:34.172. This beats the previous record by about another, and roughly a tenth of a mile each day. That can be Rutter’s win of the TT Zero.
