Elon Musk Has Donated $1 Million To Plant One Million Trees

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has contributed a whopping $1 million to #TeamTrees to plant 20 million trees.

The project, made by YouTubers MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) and Mark Rober, came to fruition after having a tweet suggesting MrBeast should plant 20 million trees once he reach 20 million subscribers on YouTube.

MrBeast and and several vloggers have migrated to make this come true, aiming to raise $20 million for the Arbor Day Foundation.

Several famous people have contributed to this cause, including Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, celebrity Alan Walker, along with MrBeast himself. In the time of writing the amount of funds stands at $7,922,669.

The largest shock donation stems from Elon Muskcontributed $1 million around the world.

Musk originally showed interest in the job when he contested the type of trees being planted as a member of MrBeast’s fundraising campaign.

After Marques Brownlee (MKBHD) responded to Musk telling him the trees could be planted ‘at a forest of high demand ’, Musk was convinced the job was ‘legit’.

He announced he was donating one million trees, which shows on the #teamtrees website because the largest donation.

The fact he has the capability is crazy. We understand his cash is going to a fantastic cause.

According to MrBeast himself,” the 20 million trees are being planted on every continent across the world, apart from Antarctica.

Elon Musk has gone to say as a joke the reason is ‘for Treebeard’. The Lord of the Rings character is a talking tree, proclaimed by Gandalf as ‘the earliest living thing that walks beneath the Sun upon this Middle-earth’.

We all know, Elon Musk may have assisted to plant another Treebeard around Earth.

There s still a very long way to go to be fulfilled, but YouTube has said it will fit the next donation to YouTube through the donate button on the streaming platform.
