Elon Musk announced on Friday that he no longer wants to create Tesla a private firm. In a blog explaining why he made the choice, Musk insisted he could fund the move. He stated that investors persuaded him that Tesla is much better as a public firm. He outlined the reaction from shareholders as”please don’t do this.”
Elon Musk considers that there’s”more than enough” funds to create Tesla a private business, but chose not to because investors advised him”please don’t do this.”
