Elon Musk has some guidance about Kanye West’s 2020 presidential bidding: Wait four more years.
Within an broad interview with The New York Times printed Saturday (July 25), the Tesla along with SpaceX creator gave his own thoughts West’s intends to run for president and touched about the rapper and style mogul’s recent Twitter rants.
Following West tweeted July 4 that he was running for presidentMusk promptly replied, “You have my entire support! ” Musk believes, however, that 2024 might be a much better time for the rapper’s demanding political conduct.

“I’t done my very best to convince him that 2024 will be much better than 2020,” Musk informed The Times, describing that he wouldn’t need West to be convicted of breaking up the Black vote for presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden.
During the interview, Musk, who stated he’s known West for “at least 10 years,” also noted that he checked up on the rapper following his latest “tweet rampage,” through which Ye detained his wife, Kim Kardashian, of sending a doctor to Wyoming to “lock up me ” and claimed that the 2017 horror movie Get Out was all about him, even among other seemingly unconnected issues.
“When he had been about a third of the way via the tweet rampage, just to see whether he had been doing OK, I sent him a text saying, you understand, just checking you, a great deal of individuals are worried, just wondering if you’re OK,” Musk said. “And he seemed fine and he called me back. He FaceTimed me and that he had been in Wyoming with a lot of friends. He appeared fine on the call. Nonetheless, it sounds like things are, you understand, maybe not fine.
