Tesla CEO Elon Musk supported Friday in a tweet the Tesla-branded tequila known as “Teslaquilla”–the jar of liquor that co-starred in his April Fool’s Day joke regarding the automaker filing for bankruptcy — would be “coming shortly. ”
Musk’s tweet was a response to some CNBC post that reported Tesla had filed an application using the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to trademark “Teslaquila. ”
Musk later tweeted a photo of a Teslaquila tag.

The Teslaquila narrative began on April Fool’s Day following Musk submitted a photo of himself passed against a Tesla Model 3 “surrounded by “Teslaquilla” bottles, the paths of tears visible on his cheeks. ” In the photo, Musk is currently holding a cardboard sign that reads “bankwupt. ”
Elon was found passed out from a Tesla Model 3, surrounded by”Teslaquilla” bottles, the paths of dried tears still visible on his cheeks.
This isn’t a statement that is forward-looking, because what ' s the point?

It’s ’s important to notice that the submitting Monday is a “intent to use” signature, and that, just as it seems, means Tesla includes a “bona fide intention, and is eligible , to use the mark in commerce on or in connection with the recognized goods/services. ”
