It appears that Tesla’s upcoming all-electric pickup truck is going to be the company’s boldest automobile at least concerning design. In a recent tweet, CEO Elon Musk verified that the visual appeal of Tesla’s “Cybertruck” is very distinctive from the renders of the car that have emerged thus far, since the pickup will look closer to some contemporary Armored Personnel Carrier (APC).

“Cybertruck doesn’t look like whatever I’t seen bouncing over the Internet. It’s closer to an armored personnel carrier in the long run,” Musk wrote.

APCs are vehicles that are created to transport personnel into combat zones. Because of the nature of their surgeries, APVS are dubbed or “battle buses,” primarily due to their capability to carry several people at one time. Considering their military designation, APVs aren’t designed with sleek flowing lines such as Tesla’s current lineup of vehicles. Rather, they generally feature straight, bold lines and a competitive stance.

Even though Elon Musk’s comparisons of Tesla’s “Cybertruck” with APVs might be alarming for some, there may really be some virtue in embracing such a radical theme for the upcoming automobile. Wheeled APV variants, by way of instance, are predicted to endure terrains such as flooded and mud areas, and therefore, they feature ground clearance. Considering Elon Musk’s announcement, it appears that Tesla’s “Cybertruck” may possess decent off-road capacities

Tesla is to launch a vehicle that can go off-road, although a teaser for EVs could be found in vehicles manufactured by Rivian and Bollinger. In the event the Tesla CEO’s recent announcements are any indication, it would not be surprising if the electric car maker’s upcoming pickup truck ends up being only as off-road capable since the Rivian R1T, or possibly the Bollinger B1 for this matter. Off-road capability is going to be a great selling point for Tesla’s pickup truck, since the automobile will begin at under $50,000, according to Elon Musk.

Tesla has published teaser images of Tesla’so called “Cybertruck,” although an image shared during the Model Y unveiling showed angular lines that appeared to be comprised using a Tesla logo at the same end. The image shows a similarity to the front of a traditional APV. The Tesla neighborhood would need to wait for a month to find out if this will really be the case, since Elon Musk has verified that the “Cybertruck” is still set to be introduced this coming November.
