Famed tattoo artist Kat Von D announced she will be leaving Los Angeles for a small city in Indiana due to tyrannical government overreach.
At a Facebook post a week, the former “LA Ink” celebrity said that although she won’t be promoting her Los Angeles home, she’ll be relocating with her son part-time, citing California’s corruption.
“Definitely never selling our beautiful home in LA, but with that’s been occurring in California, using horrible coverages, tyrannical government overreach, ridiculous taxing, among a lot more corruption, we felt that the need to plant origins in a small city where my son could be free to play with, and at which we could finally retire 1 day,” she said.
Kat Von D also clarified that she won’t be shutting her store in Los Angeles. “We will eventually be spending additional time in lovely Indiana once I finish doing some remodeling on our new historical house. ”
Reaction from fans of the famous tattoo artists ranged from excited to condescending.
“I abandoned the sheltered, depressing region you’re moving to, so did nearly of all I knew. Additionally, I lived in Cali. More costly, but more chances in every facet. Kat Von D’s exodus from California follows a series of stars and high-profile small business names that have left the once Golden State due to horrific policies. Billionaire Elon Musk, for instance, recently announced his move to Texas after criticizing the COVID-19 lockdown policies.
“Tesla and SpaceX clearly have mass surgeries in California. In fact, it’s worth noting Tesla is your previous vehicle company still producing cars in California,” Musk explained during a virtual conference hosted by the Wall Street Journal. “Space X is now your previous aerospace company still doing substantial production in California. There used to be more than a dozen car crops in California, and California used to be the center of all aerospace production. My businesses are the previous two left. ”
“For me personally, yes, I have moved to Texas. We’t got the Starship development here at South Texas where I am right now. We’re going to do a launch later today. And then we’t got big factory developments just outside Austin for Giga Texas,” he added.
