Grimes joins Bring Me the Horizon on new song “Nihilist Blues”: Stream

In the lead-up for her very own new album, Grimes has connected with collaborators throughout an assortment of genres. She dabbled in K-pop about the Loona trimming “Love4eva”; channeled industrial on “The Medicine Does Not Control Me” together using Mindless Self Indulgence’s Jimmy Urine; also pleased with all the R&B queen himself Janelle Monáe’s on “PYNK”. Now, Grimes enables a little her inner metalhead run totally on “Nihilist Blues”, a combined track using English rockers Bring Me the Horizon.

The track whiplashes a ferocious energy from the get-go, but its thrashing aggression somehow works, and for both functions in question. To get Grimes, her take on soda is intensified, and it s like watching her partake. As for BMTH, the song is just another step in their evolution toward a more dance/pop world , something that the one time metalcore band has been inching toward for some time now.
