Hyundai Shows More Of New i20, Wants To Impress You With Its High-Tech Interior

Hyundai has introduced more information and pictures on its newest supermini that was i20 and its own inside, which signifies a radical departure.

The wheelbase was increased by 10mm which raised the space for rear passengers. The area has been increased by 25 liters to a total of 351 liters.

The engine array includes the 1.0-liter T-GDI gas in 2 variations, together with 100 PS (99 HP) or 120 PS (118 HP). This unit is paired with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system for the first time, either as an alternative on the 100 PS (99 HP) variation or as standard around the 120 PS (118 HP) edition. Hyundai claims the 48-volt system helps reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions . A six-speed manual along with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission can be found with the two versions of the 1.0-liter T-GDI.

The firm will also supply a 1.2-liter MPi motor with 84 PS (83 HP) plus a five-speed manual transmission as the base edition of the newest i20. As for the industry launch, Hyundai’s new Fiesta and Polo challenger is scheduled to arrive in the European market.
