I drove a $144,000 Porsche Panamera GTS Sport Turismo to see if this high-performance wagon was as good as it looks

I tested a 2019 Porsche Panamera GTS Sport Turismo, a wagonified Panamera GTS which price per well-optioned $144,000.
The Panamera has long been known as an auto, but I feel the Sport Turismo treatment fixes . I’d previous driven a more powerful and more expensive Turbo edition of this car.
The Panamera is available with a twin-turbocharged V6 or V8 engine. I favored the V8 mill in the GTS. The best thing about my Panamera GTS Sport Turismo tester was an impeccable torque-vectoring system for the installment and the dynamic-chassis feature.
The Panamera GTS Sport Turismo has a dual-clutch transmission and suspension and drivetrain joined to create one of the very gratifying adventures I’ve had in a while.

Don’t shame the ungainly Porsche Panamera. The four-door that everyone loves to hassle for its appearances has been improved by the addition of a wagon trim to the lineup.

The sedan has come to be a swan-like estate.

Well, not really. But adding back volume has ironically made the Panamera’s bulbous back end tolerable.

Meanwhile, even though I don’t enjoy V8 Porsches that far, or perhaps at all, I found that if Stuttgart’s US representatives flipped me the secrets to some 2019 Panamera GTS Sport Turismo, a reversal of soul was on the horizon.

As with my airport pickups of test vehicles, I immediately had the opportunity to sample freight capacity. At 18 cubic feet, it’s sufficient: it could have handled another like it and handled my luggage.

Style-wise, I believe the wagon-y Sport Turismo trim enhances about the unloved Panamera layout. We experienced this Stuttgart estate in the costlier and stronger Turbo trim.
