A few months ago, Mercedes-Benz softly announced the cost because of its all-electric EQC sports-utility automobile. A $67,900 starting cost for a luxurious, 200-mile luxury crossover is a fantastic start for the EQC brand. But the announcement got lost in the shuffle at a week filled with buzz around Tesla’s bulletproof, stainless-steel Cybertruck. The deserved attention given to Ford’s Mustang-inspired electrical SUV was cut short. So where does that leave the luxury that is play-it-safe electrical SUVs out of Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and BMW?
