Is This Awesome Looking Tesla Model S Two-Door Convertible Real?

Even though we don’t know for sure if that topless, two-door Tesla Model S is real, we kind of want to believe that it is.

The images that have been circulating the past day on several forums and social networking accounts including Tesla Owners UK reveal the vehicle on display inside of a dealership that seems to be based in Europe – judging from the cars out and building structure. We could ’t find any distinguishable flaws with the pictures, so that it ’s real or even a damn great (and very detailed, given all the angles) Photoshop attempt.

Some of the lines, together with the total size of the Model S provide this two-door convertible iteration a sort of Maserati GranCabrio vibe. It’s sleek, stylish, and certainly makes for a more expensive-looking automobile – though, the lack of a roll pub could be debatable, if that truly is a real conversion.

Another thing that we ’re unsure about is whether there’s ’s an actual folding roof beneath all that habit metalwork in the trunk, but when there is, it’s likely a soft top. If real, we’d be worried about the lack of roll bars unless their hidden beneath the rear headrests which would be a rather complex and expensive solution to get a custom build.

We have to mention that it really reminds us a lot of the Tesla S Roadster sketch from Ares Design, however that probably isn’t it since they never released anything official then first sketch. So their job is likely still in development.

As for whether this seems better or worse than the normal Model S, nicely that type of query doesn’t inevitably come with a straightforward response. The Model S can be an excellent looking saloon, by many accounts. Meanwhile, this convertible variant (unlike the ones dreadful four-door convertible creations we’ve noticed previously ) is arguably fairly good looking also.

We’ve asked around to see if it is indeed an actual real-life build or a very intricate but doctored attempt and hopefully we’ll figure out how to find out more. Once we do, we’ll give you an update.

So then, do you enjoy it, enjoy it or do you rather that the Model S stick to what it does best in terms of styling?
