Karaoke is coming to Teslas, and a music streaming service could be on the way

In case super-tough arcade matches and driving sims aren’t sufficient to keep you busy while your vehicle is charging, Tesla has announced even more goodies for its own dashboard toy box.

At an tweet, the company’s CEO Elon Musk reported that a”fun, little music tool” would be coming to drivers’ dashboards soon, which will include in-car karaoke. The update may also see the introduction of Tesla’s long-rumored music streaming service. References to something called’TTunes’ first appeared in 2017, however the quantity has been dialled down since then.

It will be interesting to check whether Tesla is able to think of something which will compete with the likes of iTunes for in-car sound, or whether it has altered plans because those first murmurs and has decided to build its existing partnership with Spotify instead to create something new itself.

Fresh paint

Tesla can be currently revamping its program that is finger-painting. Sketchbook will soon be upgraded with the ability to undo several actions (perfect for the less coordinated artist), and the color-picker allows in-car Caravaggios to alter the saturation of their preferred hue.

The new attributes were added following art director, animator and illustrator Goro Fujita created a request to CEO Elon Musk on Twitter.

Sketchpad started life as an Easter egg for drivers to detect, however, is evolving into a practical art program. Other hidden surprises have now included a color-changing impact to your car’s charge port and Mario Kart-style rainbow streets in Autopilot style.
