Mercedes-Benz Teases Next-Gen MBUX UI With Radical New Hyperscreen

If it comes in-car infotainment systems, Mercedes-Benz arguable have among the greatest systems from the business with all the MBUX UI. Mercedes’s twin-screen infotainment installment for the instrument console and entertainment display is just one of the very flamboyant display setup’s in automobiles on the market. It functions exceptionally smoothly with crisp, high-definition images. The present version of Mercedes’ twin-screen setup debuted with the S-Class a few years ago and eventually trickled down to most cars in Mercedes’ range.

Now, Mercedes-Benz is moving on to their next-generation of in-car infotainment system. The company has now teased its the latest improvement in its MBUX suite, an ultra-wide arch touchscreen. It’s been called the MBUX Hyperscreen and it will be published on January 7 in the 2021 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). While the S-Class debuted the previous generation of Mercedes MBUX program, this new Mercedes-Benz Hyperscreen will make its its debut on the Mercedes EQS electric luxury sedan together with a plethora of new features that come with it.

Like most contemporary infotainment systems, the Mercedes-Benz Hyperscreen can allow you connectivity round smartphones and wireless devices. It is going to basically use artificial intelligence (AI) for all you vehicle, infotainment, along with comfort functions. You are able to do things such as locking/unlocking your vehicle or even pre-cool your cabin using just your smart phone. According to what Mercedes has shown as of now, it appears that the touchscreen and its performance will be quite similar to what you get onto Tesla versions.

The firm have said that the Mercedes-Benz Hyperscreen will be a full-width curved screen. That means it is going to encompass the whole width of the dash at the EQS EV. Mercedes will offer a complete comprehensive presentation of this machine in the virtual 2021 CES.  The presentation will be completed by Ola Källenius, Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler AG along with Mercedes-Benz AG, Vera Schmidt, Head of Mercedes-Benz Advanced Digital Design, and Sajjad Khan, CTO and Member of the Board of Management Mercedes-Benz AG.

Further into 2021, Mercedes would be debuting their initial all-electric compact SUV, the EQA, on January 20. The Mercedes EQA is going to be accompanied by the introduction of the EQS sedan in the first half of 2021. The Mercedes EQ portfolio already consists of the EQC SUV and EQV electric van. There’ll be as numerous as six new EQ versions coming from Merecdes-Benz prior to the conclusion of 2022, bringing the whole number up to eight.
