Mercedes’ headquarters only outside Atlanta, Georgia are vacant because mid-March, which ’s not about to change any time soon. That the carmaker has arranged its 875 workers to finish out the year at home.
This directive can remain in effect following year also, because it’s set to be the new standard, at least for the time being.
“Working was the exclusion – for the foreseeable future, it will become the standard,” stated Mercedes-Benz USA CEO Nicholas Speeks in an interview with Autonews past week.

Together with the state of Georgia entering lockdown in mid-March, Mercedes workers have had to conduct business from living room sofas, kitchen tables, kitchen tables and patio seats. Things are moving according to Speeks.
