Neuron EV, the China-backed, California-based startup that holds the record for having the vehicle lineup that is yet to go on sale, has recently revealed that a new model.
It’so-called the VEGA (Versatile Electric Grand Automobile) and, such as its stablemates, it has pure electrical propulsion. However, it&rsquo s original passenger automobile.
This ’s becauseup until now, Neuron EV has only showcased commercial vehicles like the T-One pickup/van along with Torq semi truck. Speaking of the T-One, the VEGA will be constructed on the identical modular electrical platform used from the pickup. Neuron EV asserts this will lead to a &ldquocrossover that unites a truck’s sturdiness and ride comfort of a passenger vehicle. ”

According to the EV startup, the truck-based chassis provides the VEGA “strong structural rigidity” whereas the electrical propulsion system will deliver “a smooth and fuel-efficient drive. ”
Classified as midsize crossover, the VEGA is 16-ft (4,877-mm) long, 6.5-ft (1,981-mm) wide and 5.5-ft (1,676-mm) high. The measurements make it like your VW Touareg therefore there should be no lack of space inside. Neuron EV asserts the electrical crossover includes a spacious interior that can comfortably seat five passengers, expansive headroom thanks to its dome shaped roof along with generous cargo storage.
Regrettably, no other specs are available for the electrical crossover therefore that we don’t even know anything about the electric motor(s), battery pack, driving range, performance or launching time. For the VEGA isn’t just a bunch of CGIs at the moment.
