The video starts out showing a reddish Mazda3 hatchback. With slim taillights, angled windows, and a bulbous back end, it looks like the Kai concept that debuted at the Tokyo Motor Show this past year. Naturally, we anticipate Mazda will tone down a number of the concept’s elements that are more striking. In this teaser, the Mazda3 includes traditional door handles instead of the Tesla-like retracting ones we saw about the Kai notion.
After the car appears, Mazda shows a vehicle. It & rsquo; s uncertain whether this vehicle is a car or hatchback, but whatever it is, it’s a record that is nice.
The current-generation Mazda3 arrived for the 2014 model year. But each year since then, Mazda has made thoughtful adjustments , or so the car has felt comparatively new, especially when it comes to managing. In the event the Kai concept is any indication, expect the new Mazda3 to take a seat on the most current Skyactiv platform, which ought to improve dynamics further. The Mazda3 should adopt the Kai concept’therefore Skyactiv-X engine which uses spark plugs to commence compression ignition. This engine claims to produce more torque and better fuel economy than Skyactiv-G engines.
