The Tesla Model X is not any small car or truck. At 198.3 inches and 66.3 inches high, the 5,000+ pound all-electric SUV is big enough to seat seven adults and their cargo without any difficulties. If a recent sighting of the Rivian R1T is any indication, however, it appears that Tesla’s largest production vehicle to date could seem surprisingly compact next to the coming all-electric pickup.
A movie of a real-world sighting of 2 Rivian R1Ts was recently shared in the r/Rivian subreddit. Interestingly , the short clip featured among the all-electric pickups driving on the freeway near some Tesla Model X, which looked noticeably more compact compared to R1T. Granted, a good portion of this might be caused by the Model X’s atmosphere suspension being in its low setting, but the R1T’s ride height appeared to be fairly low too.
