Saweetie links up with Doja Cat for new single ‘Best Friend’

Saweetie has teamed up with Doja Cat for a fresh new one titled ‘Best Friend’, which comes along with an accompanying music video.

The Dave Meyers-directed visual sees the pair going on, with a slumber party and driving about in a gem-studded Tesla.

‘Best Friend’ is the latest cut from Saweetie’s forthcoming debut record, ‘Pretty Bitch Music’. Release details for the record currently remain scarce.

It follows her collaboration in October using Jhené Aiko for another individual titled ‘Back To The Streets’, which was co-produced together with Timbaland.

The first single Saweetie dropped in the record had been ‘Tap In’ in June, which went viral together with the aid of TikTok. The trail made its way to the peak of the Billboard charts and held the number one place on the Top Triller US graph for two successive weeks.

She subsequently enlisted the attempts of Post Malone, DaBaby along with Jack Harlow for a remix of this course in August, together with each member contributing extra verses to the song.

‘Tap In’ also got a nomination for ‘Song of the Summer’ at the 2020 VMA Awards which happened in exactly the exact same month.

Meanwhile, the Doja Cat recently teased she might be tinkering with the likes of Megan Thee Stallion, Ariana Grande, SZA and a number of other people on her forthcoming new album.
