Tesla CEO Elon Musk and the futuristic Cybertruck were captured filming near SpaceX headquarters Friday afternoon for an upcoming segment of Jay Leno’s Garage. Again taking the spotlight in the Tesla Design Center in Hawthorne, CA, the website where the all-electric utility truck made its own shocking world debut, camera and production team were setting up to film a scene close to the famous Tesla Supercharger monolith.
In the images sent to Teslarati, Elon Musk could be seen inspecting the rear of the Cybertruck and its own motorized rear tonneau, as film crew busily ready equipment for the camera that would adhere to stainless steel pickup past SpaceX.
Cameras rolled since the Tesla Cybertruck made its way onto Crenshaw Blvd. from Hawthorne, CAalong with the legendary Falcon 9 booster and also SpaceX headquarters built perfectly in the backdrop. A truck having a camera rig flanked the pickup truck.

The segment including the Tesla Cybertruck is expected to broadcast on a coming episode of Jay Leno’s Garage. The chat show host and auto enthusiast has been known to become a vocal supporter of both Tesla and Elon Musk. Jay Leno has been quoted before saying that electric automobiles are the future and that these vehicles are far superior to internal combustion engines.
“I believe , the benefit of electricity. I’ve a Tesla. I’t had it. I’t never achieved anything. There’s not any liquids to alter. There’s nothing. You know, For new technology it may ’t be equivalent. It’s got to be greater. And theyrsquo;t (Tesla) form of solved the battery issue. It may go 350 to 400 miles in a cost. There’s no longer more maintenance. Theyrsquo;re quicker than the gas car. So there’s no reason to have a petrol vehicle unless you’re doing long-haul duty,&rdquo.
In 2018, the veteran comedian featured the next-generation Tesla Roadster in his automotive series where he spoke about the supercar using Tesla’s main programmer Franz von Holzhausen. A few years before that, Leno gave his viewers an abysmal look in the 2012 Tesla Model S.
While Teslarati didn’t place the Model Y in Friday’s filming of the Cybertruck, rumors surfaced that Tesla’s crossover Model Y will also be featured on Jay Leno’s long-running car series. This information was shared to a certain Tesla Model 3 owner Michael Hughes with a Tesla worker who gave him a early excursion of the Model Y interior.
