Tesla Giga Texas’ work area expansion teases Cybertruck facility’s mammoth size

“Big news is that the width of the foundation is growing wider, possibly doubling as fresh floor leveling and gravel application is expanding farther westward. Though it’s not easy to get specific measurements, it might become about 700 feet (213 meters) wide or more! Total length is also tricky to measure, but estimates of 5,000 feet (1,525 meters) or more are likely in the ideal ballpark! Though we might not yet know the real dimensions, there’s no doubt that this will be a huge building! ” Tegtmeyer commented.

Quite interestingly, other regions in the Giga Texas complicated have also revealed progress. An area north of the concrete yards in the complicated, for example, is supposed to be allocated to get a potential energy substation. Work at the metropolitan area at the bottom end of the site is also continuing. Gigafactory Texas has only been under construction for a bit more than a month, but the progress of the site has already been substantial. The number of heavy machinery set up at the complex has turned the supposed Phase 1 place into a bustling area of action . With this kind of a speed in your mind, it seems that Tesla’s Giga Texas might wind up rivaling, or maybe even surpassing the already-impressive speed of Gigafactory Berlin, whose use of prefabricated materials has but stunned Tesla bulls and bears alike.
