Tesla’s Gigafactory 3 China has seen remarkable growth. Back in October 2018, the Gigafactory 3 complex was but a huge plot of land which has been being flattened. The site is a bustling region dominated by an overall assembly construction that is expected to begin generating the Tesla Model 3, the automobile manufacturer s most disruptive sedan up to now.
Each stage of Gigafactory 3’s expansion has luckily been chronicled by the efforts of local enthusiasts and operators that go to the site to provide updates on the automobile manufacturing facility’s progress. One of the very first ones who did this was drone operator Wuwa Vision, that began visiting Gigafactory 3’s location last October.

One year because that date, the Tesla enthusiast contributed with a rather insightful movie that highlights exactly how far Gigafactory 3 has come over the past 12 weeks . Footage from October 2018, as an example, shows that the place for Tesla’s automobile manufacturing facility is nearly unrecognizable from its condition last year. The complex has been pretty much flattened land, and its surrounding regions were populated by crops.

The drone owner ’s most recent footage of Gigafactory 3 showed the construction of Tesla’s battery facility at the Phase 2 area is coming along well, so is your substation at the southwest end of the large lot. Markings on the assembly building’s facade also show that Gigafactory 3 includes heaps of gates for both employees and more than 30 docks for supplies onto a single side. Furthermore, a fence is now being built around the Gigafactory 3 complex.
The development of Gigafactory 3 in Shanghai is very remarkable, so much so the term “Tesla rate ” is reportedly becoming a colloquialism within China’s car circles. This “Tesla rate ” does not appear to be slowing down anytime soon either, as speculations are abounding that Model 3 production could begin in Gigafactory 3 as early as the coming weeks. This definitely appears to be a possibility, as movies and graphics have emerged showing Model 3 units being driven round the website .
