Tesla helps owners in Hurricane Michael’s path with temporary range upgrade, free Supercharging

Since Hurricane Michael approached East Coast with its monstrous power, Tesla Model S 40, S 60, and S 70 owners obtained an update. The patch unlocked the vehicles ’ battery pack’s full capacity, giving them up to 30-40 kilometers of variety. Tesla owners who fled from Michael also discovered that Supercharging was complimentary in areas impacted by the hurricane.

Tesla’s temporary range upgrade is possible as a result of Model S 40, S 60, and S 70 vehicles being outfitted with larger battery packs.
