Tesla has started rolling out software upgrade 2020.44 to the fleet of vehicles, and it includes a number of improvements that drivers would likely love. Depending on the Release Notes supplied by the electrical car maker, 2020.44 offers several welcome enhancements to its automobile ’s media playback capabilities and Autopilot’s rate settings.

Spotify has been inserted to Tesla’s vehicles with the release of Software V10 last calendar year. Before its inclusion, the streaming service had been heavily requested by Tesla owners, contemplating that Spotify is incredibly common. With 2020.44, Tesla has introduced improvements that would permit drivers to locate and play content simpler. Gapless playback attributes are also included.

Spotify Improvements

“Spotify was updated to make it less difficult to locate and play with content in your own library, which now also contains collaborative playlists and podcasts. With gapless playback, you may enjoy playlists without disruption between tracks. A Spotify home tab was added to help determine new content which is customized according to your listening preferences. Spotify also syncs with different devices which are logged in, making it much easier to control what is playing in the car in the Spotify mobile program. ”

With all the improvements on Spotify, 2020.44 also introduces improvements to the websites search functions in Tesla’s vehicles. With the newest upgrade, media search results will be less painful to view, making the feature more suitable to work with. Drivers now have the choice to display or hide their favorite media sources in their vehicles’ Audio Settings too.

Aside from Spotify improvements, Tesla also rolled out developments to Autopilot’s rate controls through Speed Limit, that will place the system’s cruise rate to the rate limit of the road. This, aside from providing greater advantage to Autopilot consumers, permits vehicles to behave only a tiny more like human drivers on the road.

Autopilot Set Speed

“You can now alter the Autopilot set rate by correcting Controls > Autopilot > Set Speed to one of the following options:

“SPEED LIMIT will put the cruise rate to the rate limit of the road and will adjust either to the Set Speed Offset that’s given or to the current driving rate, whichever is higher. The Set Speed Offset can be configured to a FIXED rate for all streets or to a PERCENTAGE which will vary based on the rate limit of the road.

“CURRENT SPEED will place the cruise rate to the current driving rate. ”

As per data gleaned from TeslaFi, 2020.44 is being rolled out to Model S, 3, X, and Y vehicles. Tesla’s full release notes for upgrade 2020.44 may be obtained here
