Tesla produced 5,300 Model 3 sedans during the last week of the third quarter, less compared to weekly target of 6,000 it had set at the end of August.
The automaker did figure out how to meet its guidance for complete Model 3 generation, making 53,239 after projecting it would cause between 50,000 and 55,000, resulting in a mean production rate of approximately 4,095 Model 3s per week.
Tesla stated in July that it expected to make 6,000 Model 3s per week by the end of August.
The automaker didn’t say if it had attained that speed of production at any stage during the third quarter.
