At a recent letter to Tesla employees, Elon Musk noted that the initial quarter of 2019 would watch Model 3 deliveries starting in global markets. Musk explained that Tesla is adopting a similar plan in Q1 2019 because it did in Q3 2018, with the company pushing the Model 3’s higher-cost variations in Europe and China. If successful, and some amount of fortune, Musk stated that Tesla can “goal a Small profit” this initial quarter.

Recent upgrades from European regulators imply that Tesla’s Model 3 ramp in the region would face no problems by regulators. In an update on its own official site, Dutch vehicle authority RDW cleared the electrical automobile maker to begin delivering the Model 3 around Europe. On Friday, Los Angeles Times reporter Russ Mitchell also posted a tweet credited to some Tesla spokesperson, who stated that the company had obtained European approval for the electric sedan.

Together with the Model 3 gaining homologation approval, there is very little that may get in the mode of Tesla saturating Europe using the electic sedan. While the Model S and Model X both attained homologation without any problems, after any issues with the Model 3’s acceptance could have jeopardized Tesla’s plans for the vehicle’s European drive, which allegedly involves shipping 3,000 components of the electrical sedan to the region Weekly starting in February.

This is exactly what occurred to heritage automaker Audi and its own e-tron all-electric SUV, which allegedly failed homologation because of problems with the vehicle’s software. While the e-tron gained a remarkable amount of attention from potential customers in the region, Audi finally stated that its initial all-electric SUV wouldn’t be published at the end of 2018 as originally planned. Luckily for the veteran automaker, Audi has since informed auto publication Electrive that the e-tron really made it through homologation mid-December.

Together with the Model 3 successfully departure homologation, Tesla will be able to avoid the flaws and problems faced by Audi and its initial all-electric SUV. Tesla could now focus on the most essential thing at hand — bringing the Model 3 to reserve holders and prospective buyers in the region.

Day 2- no sign of it slowing down. I estimate 8 trucks one hour arrive, times 9 cars per = 72 cars hr. The entire lot appears less complete than yesterday. Probably running 24 hrs. Mainly 3'smuch more X than S. Some wrapped in movie, some not. pic.twitter.com/9HKhJVzwGP

Deliveries for the electrical sedan are yet to begin, but Tesla is currently moving full throttle in its own European drive for the Model 3. In a prior report, Belgian news agency Focus-WTV has noted that the electrical sedans will be coming every week in the port of Zeebrugge, situated on the shore of Belgium. To bring the Model 3 to Europe, Tesla is reportedly partnering with transportation firm International Car Operators (ICO), which uses RoRo (roll-on, roll-off) ships capable of loading and unloading freight quickly.

Tesla is also gearing up its Supercharger Network in the region to encourage the upcoming influx of Model 3 sedans. For now, Tesla is currently in the process of installing “Model 3 Priority” Superchargers which are outfitted with double charge wires, which feature a Type 2 and CCS plug. To further fortify its charging infrastrcuture at Europe, Tesla also intends to retrofit its present Supercharger channels with CCS plugs to accommodate your Model 3.

Tesla has noted that Europe poses a profitable chance for the Model 3 because the midsize sedan section in the region is approximately twice as large as that of the United States. If the Model 3 could see just as much success in Europe as it did in America, then a good part of Tesla’s global drive for the electrical sedan might well be a massive success.
