Thought the Tesla Model S Performance and Model X Performance had reached the limit of their stride? Think again.

As standard, the two flagship Tesla models are among the vehicles on Earth, regardless of class. In fact, the Model S Performance can hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in under 2.5 seconds while the Model X Performance can attain the identical markers in under 3 seconds.

However, Tesla aficionado greentheonly on Twitter has found a brand new software feature the electrical automaker has rolled out to customers.

Known as ‘Cheetah Stance,’ the feature adjusts the elastic suspension of their EVs to present the launching. The front suspension is reduced and the damping is optimized when motorists press on the brake with their foot and push and hold the accelerator with their foot. This may allow ‘Launch Mode’ along with the Model S and Model X guarantee to scurry off the line than before.

Greentheonly discovered the new method when searching via forthcoming software updates for the Model S and Model X. It remains to be seen if it will be introduced into the Model 3 and Model Y Performance, but it appears improbable as neither of these are accessible with Tesla’therefore Adaptive Suspension system.

Just hours after saying about this new launching style surfaced, the first video (found under ) has been shared online showing the ‘Cheetah’ mode in action.
