Tesla Model Y are starting to show up en masse at the Fremont factory, ready for car carriers

Tesla has started preparations for the group of Model Y deliveries which are scheduled to occur as soon as March 15. Car carriers packed with Tesla’therefore all-electric crossover have been seen over the weekend along with a stockpile of Model Y at the company’s factory whole lot in Fremont, California.

The new sighting of Model Y en masse at the Fremont factory parking lot comes on the heels of Tesla’s email notification to US and Canadian customers, informing them of final measures required prior to their shipping.

Tesla enthusiast Wilson Lam shared photographs of a fleet of Model Y being packed onto automobile carriers on the weekend, also a sign that the electric carmaker is at the last stages of delivery prep.

While it’s uncertain that the Model Y vehicles seen in car haulers are display vehicles such as showrooms or consumer cars, the fleet of Tesla crossovers at Deep Blue Metallic, Pearl White Multi-Coat, also Red Multi-Coat joins dozens of additional Model Y sightings happening in California.

Tesla started a limited production run of this Model Y out of its Fremont factory in January or ten months after constructing its prototype. Now, roughly one year since its unveiling, a stockpile of Model Y are starting to appear at the factory site as the company gears up to create initial deliveries of its crossover.

The Model Y originally had a collapse 2020 production timeline that was moved up to 2020’s summer. Tesla would confirm the change in production deadline in its Q4 Update Letter, noting that the initial deliveries of this Model Y will happen prior to the end of Q1.

Tesla is predicted to deliver the Model Y to customers on March 15.
