Tesla has started its largest sales and support center in Germany so far. Apart from operating as a sales and support center, the all-electric car manufacturer’s new location will handle deliveries as well, making the website a multipurpose facility for current and future Tesla clients.

Based on TeslaMag, the EV maker’s newest sales center is situated at Hamburg, Germany. Its floor space is all about 6,997 sq feet (about 6,500 sqm), making it Tesla’s largest sales center in Germany in the moment. The business has two other sales and support centers in Germany: 1 situated in Hanover and the other in Cologne.

Tesla’s fresh Hamburg location appears to follow a similar model as its Integrated Experience Centers in China, which serve as showrooms, as well as service and delivery facilities. TeslaMag noted that Tesla has shut a number of its stores and showrooms in prime city locations.

The closures appear to be in conjunction with the introduction of their newest integrated revenue centers in strategic places. Tesla may be choosing to start out multi-purpose facilities for clients, which may be more effective as it keeps growing.

Tesla’s Hamburg revenue center is strategically located and might help drive the EV manufacturer’s expansion further later on. Hamburg happens to be the home of the second-largest harbor in Europe and the largest seaport in Germany. Around 8,000 ships pier in Port of Hamburg a year, reported its official website.

As Tesla’s market share in Germany continues to increase, more revenue and support centers will be required to cater to clients, both new and old.  The accession of Tesla’s Hamburg sales center can signify the all-electric car maker’s growing customer base in Germany.

According to a chart released by the KBA, Tesla’s earnings in Germany have been rising this year regardless of the ongoing pandemic. The KBA graph indicates that Tesla has given a total of 11,217 vehicles to clients from Germany from January to September of 2020. So far, Tesla has triumphed since the outlier among carmakers working in the nation, all which have exhibited negative growth this year.

Tesla’s existence in Germany is expected to extend much more following Gigafactory Berlin starts production about the Model Y at mid-2021. Giga Berlin’s construction has been steadily picking up speed in the past couple of months and appears to be on schedule. In Q2, Tesla did declare that Gigafactory Berlin’s construction was moving smoothly. Pictures and drone flyovers of the website reveal numerous structures such as the Body-in-White building along with the Paint Shop coming together quickly too.

As per recent upgrades from CEO Elon Musk, Gigafactory Berlin’s Tesla Model Y is going to be created with the firm ’s tradition 4680 cells along with structural battery package , which have been unveiled during the firm ’s Battery Day. The vehicle is also using a single-piece front and back throw. As such, the European Model Y will likely be more energy-efficient and possibly even be cheaper than its current counterparts from the United States.
