One lucky Tesla owner had the opportunity to go within a Model Y and provide their accounts of the means by which the inside of the all-electric crossover contrasts to their own Model 3 car.

Michael Hughes, who goes by the handle @mickthughes on Twitter,  shared his own expertise using the Model Y after viewing it in the San Luis Obispo Supercharger station on the central coast of California. According to the Model 3 owner, the Tesla employee that has been driving the Model Y enabled him to briefly learn more about the automobile ’s leading along with second-row seating.  “I must sit in front passenger and rear passenger seats,” noted Hughes, including that the vehicle had a space & seating. ”

Model Y sighting in a row. Got to speak and see that the whole inside (no more pics by petition ). Car will be in Jay Leno show! Amazing design / storage area & seating. Got to sit in it. @Model3Owners @Teslarati @ElectrekCo @TeslaPodcast @thirdrowtesla @ModelYNews pic.twitter.com/2euhELzxg0

Hughes wasn’Can snap pictures of the Model Y’s inside upon the petition of the Tesla employee but was able to share some interesting particulars about the crossover.

According to the Model 3 owner, the Model Y’s front appears quite similar to the sedan up near but the rear differed. Hughes also pointed out Model Y’s glass roofing that no crossbeam, making for a grand and unobstructed overhead perspective. The inside is far roomier than the Model 3 along with its rear seats can accommodate three passengers according to Hughes.

The storage of the Model Y is bigger than that of the Model 3. The speakers are transferred to spare more storage. In addition, he found that the seats can “rdquo & power; fold having a press of a button.

A recent sighting of the Model Y next to some Model X revealed how the magnitude of the crossover is surprisingly near the Tesla SUV. The Model Y was nearly as tall as the Model X, that has a typical height of 66 inches. The diameter of these two vehicles indicates that the flagship SUV is bigger than the Model Y but it appears Tesla was able to style the upcoming crossover to really have a inside despite sharing nearly all of its DNA using all the smaller Model 3 car.

The Tesla Model Y that Hughes checked out in the charging station did not have a third-row seat however he detected a distance that might be allocated to the arrangement. During the weekend, some Japanese website posted a new photo of the Tesla Model Y third-row seats and also there have been also car seat rails that will allow occupants to adjust the second-row seats to present comfortable legroom for those occupants in the rearmost passenger seats. With seats, the Model Y will have the ability to accommodate seven passengers a large edge over its rivals such as the Audi Q5, BMW X3as well as the Jaguar I-PACE which ’s made to seat five passengers.

Its enormous. Seriously, not model X but entirely different and open out of my 3. There are just two under storage compartments. A big one like model 3 just bigger and a second one!!!! But much more for aesthetics than storage room might match etc, briefcase

The Model Y isn’t simply a chunkier Model 3 and a bigger Model Y however it’s sounding that it will have a character of its own.  The Tesla Model Y’s CARB certificate was recently released, indicating that deliveries could come sooner than anticipated. Model Y manufacturing was initially planned to begin Summer 2020 but anticipated to begin as early as this quarter.

The Model Y will be sold in three variants. The Rear-wheel Drive Long Range variant will go for $48,000 while the Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive Long Range and Performance versions will sell for $52,000 and $62,000 ahead of possible savings.
