Tesla reduces Model S, X and Model 3 deposit to just $100, but there’s a catch

Electrical car manufacturer Tesla has lowered the residue for its lineup of vehicles. A look at Tesla’therefore page to your Model 3, Model S, and Model X, shows that the business is just requiring a $100 non-refundable residue.

This makes the company’s entire car lineup for buyers due to its smaller deposit. It has a catch. Unlike a fully-refundable deposit of $2,500, the updated $100 deposit is non-refundable. This means the buyer will pay the $100 deposit, along with fees and taxes in the time of ordering, but they would have to waive their $100 if they opt to cancel their purchase.

Orders can be achieved via a charge card, or via Apple Pay, an option CEO Elon Musk rolled out so as to make it even more convenient for Apple users to purchase Tesla’s products.

Apart from the deposit, Tesla has also embraced some alterations . The Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus has increased in cost by $500, from $38,990 to $39,490.  Tesla has increased the cost of its Solid Black paint option .

Solid Black was originally the standard color option until Elon Musk announced in July the Silicon Valley-based vehicle manufacturer would be changing its default color to white. Musk noted then that Solid Black could cost $1,000 after the shift, but after the default color was changed into white, Solid Black was priced at $750.

Currently, the color option is the “Pearl White Multi-Coat,” an option the Tesla community appears to enjoy, since it is more attractive than the Simple White” due . Cars have the reputation of concealing scratches in a more different fashion than coloured cars. As they conceal residue gathered from the weather and everyday imperfections, But automobiles have benefits as well. Pollen and grime are a wonderful example.

The modifications to pricing will make prospective Tesla owners excited regarding the decrease in deposit cost, but the upcharge for its Solid Black paint may begin to make the popularity of White Pearl Multi-Coat vehicles much more popular. While the increase is minimal, it could be enough to sway some buyers to purchasing their new vehicle in its default color.
