Tesla to produce $25K car as early as 2022 in Gigafactory Shanghai: report

An eco-assessment account for Gigafactory Shanghai recently provided a teaser about a third party Tesla which is generated at the China-based electrical vehicle factory. The documents sign that Tesla wants to make a new automobile at Giga Shanghai as early as 2022, and it will be priced between RMB160,000 into RMB 200,000 (approximately $25,000 to $30,000). 

As noted in a report published by Sina Motors on Weibo, Tesla’s steadily enhancing earnings in China were key drivers to the approaching launch of their third vehicle. The new car was allegedly approved as early as September 2020, and product confirmation is poised to be finished about March 2021. The car, which will allegedly be determined by this Model 3 chassis, will take its place as Tesla’s entry EV from the country.

At a starting price of $25,000, the yet-to-be-named vehicle will probably rival the Model Y into raw earnings.
