Tesla owners are a passionate bunch and despite the automaker being banned from the Kansas City Auto Show, a group of Tesla owners decided to stage their own screen outside the event.

Should you’re wondering the electric automaker wasn’t allowed to display its vehicles at the case,. It’s because the state’s car dealer association opposes direct sales model, Electrek reports.

Here’s the Auto dealer association said in a statement:

“A sales and support agreement with an automaker would be your criteria. Tesla’s business design doesn’t even comprise franchised dealership they don’t belong to the association. ”

This wasn’t going to stop the Tesla Owners Club of Kansas City, however, as they took things

“The Tesla Owners Club of Kansas City is holding a two-day event next to the Kansas City Auto Show on March 8 and 7, 2020. Several Tesla automobiles will be on screen and owners will soon be present to answer questions about life with a Tesla,” they declared.

Sadly, the auto show was 11.3 kilometers (18 km) in the Tesla store.
