While New America says that the safest approach to a middle-class presence in the U.S. economy is through “a college degree from a reliable, affordable association in an in-demand program of study,” the company researched the ideal approach to obtain a rewarding career with no heavy tuition invoice and time-consuming schedule. “Non-degree programs provided by community schools, if designed well, may provide upward mobility for people who need it the most,” the company states.
