One certainly cannot accuse CDU party chairwoman Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer of speaking in terms. She sees the attack in Halle as a’wake-up call’. It is alarm clocks that ship calls out. Has somebody awakened by a deep sleep?

Halle endured this week a more or less exact copy of this Christchurch attack. A radical right-wing man was filmed live as he got out of his car with the goal of entering a religious construction (two mosques in Christchurch, a synagogue in Halle) to shoot at people indiscriminately employing an automatic gun – like a scene shot by a computer game.
