Public parking areas are having trouble in hosting bigger-than-ever cars and the latest. Some lots have started charging oversize fees for big SUVs and trucks. SP Plus, a parking and transportation provider is just one of these , but they might need to think about if vehicles continue their growth spurt, going further.

“We would have to look at what our rates really have been and what we charge for those vehicles,” Jeff Eckerling, chief development officer of SP Plus said. “If you’re in a good deal, we can (say) that should you’re parking along with your automobile goes over two distances, we can charge you for two distances. ”
