Individuals are getting more and more miserable about plastics from the sea .
Packaging businesses say online retailers are feeling the pressure to use paper-based packaging, including cardboard, more than plastics.
But removing plastic packaging in online shopping, such as Amazon‘s vinyl mailers, is not the answer.
Research indicates that cardboard and paper packaging produce emissions compared to vinyl. It uses a lot of wood.
Instead, retailers must look at products on a case-by-case basis. Paper is the way to go, although plastic makes sense.
