In South Africa, BMW’s B57D30S0 quad-turbo 3 liter inline-six tube has got the third spot on the podium.  This engine is a miracle. Displacing just 3.0 liters and athletic just six-cylinders, it handles to create 394 hp along with also 561 lb-ft of torque. Admittedly, it will house four-turbochargers to get the work done but it’s still impressive. 561 lb-ft of torque by a six-cylinder motor, and whatever the turbocharger count, is impressive.

But what’s far much more notable than its amazing power is the way smooth and usable it is. The B57 forces the BMW 750d and allows the massive luxury sedan for from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds. That’s fast for a gigantic diesel-powered luxury car.

This exceptionally powerful BMW diesel engine will yield fuel market of 7.2liter/100km.

The engine can be presently used at the G30 M550d, G05 X5 M50d along with also the G07 X7 M50d.

Second place goes into Porsche’s 4-liter flat-six that’s employed at the 911 GT3 RS. It generates 520 hp (383 kW) at 8,250 rpm while torque is measured at 470Nm.

And the first place isn’t really reserved for an engine, but instead for the entire Tesla powertrain and its Model 3. Even the range-topping Model 3 is powered with a 75kWh electricity pack providing 456 of peak power, good enough for a 0-100km/h time of 3.3 seconds and 500km of joint driving range.
