Musk declared on Twitter the Model S is now available from $69,420, with some (like CNBC) asserting that those amounts (69 along with 420) might be his way of joking about a sex act along with the recreational use of cannabis…
By dropping the price of the Model S, Tesla can now state its executive saloon is much less costly than the entry-level 2022 Lucid Air which was confirmed with a $69,900 starting cost following the $7,500 national tax credit before this week. It’s quite obvious that Musk has taken note of that which Lucid is doing and is quick to reply accordingly.
Even though Tesla fanboys and potential clients will no doubt be glad to hear the Model S is much significantly less costly than the most economical variant of the Lucid Air, it’therefore worth remembering that the Tesla has been in production for more than eight decades.
