A freak accident occurred at Hallandale Beach, Florida on Monday if a Nissan GT-R reportedly ran a red light and slammed into a Tesla Model X, effectively cutting the EV in two.
Yes, you read that right: the crossover was left without the rear section behind the seats, including the rear wheels. You can imagine the rate the Nissan was looking to happen.
What makes this so dumbfounding is the fact the accident took place at the junction of Hallandale Beach Boulevard and Three Islands Boulevard. Eyewitnesses remember seeing the snowy Nissan GT-R running through a red light before hammering into the rear section of the Tesla Model X.

The driver and the passenger in the Nissan were transported to the hospital – the man driver with injuries along with his girlfriend for a trauma patient. Both are expected to recover.
Amazingly, the Tesla motorist emerged with only a slight injury to a leg. Identified as Jose Diaz, he had been viewed as making the sign of the cross moments. The man informed Miami’so WSVN 7News the Nissan came so quickly he didn’t see it that he simply felt the bang.
While the Nissan GT-R’s suffered extensive front end damage and the Tesla Model X obtained divided into two, they weren’t the only cars involved in the wreck.
