Tesla’s ‘Full Self-Driving’ Option Cost Being Increased By $1,000

Tesla has touted technology that will enable its automobiles to drive on their ownregulations permitting. Clients have to pay extra for this option and those who are thinking of that for their next Tesla purchase must now remember that the price of the full self-driving option is being raised. This is actually the second time in a few months which Tesla has raised the price of a feature that’s not as fully functional at this time.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted out that the price of Tesla’s complete self-driving option is going to rise by $1,000 on August 16th. The attribute, which Musk promises will one day enable Teslas to push on their own fully, now costs $6,000.

Musk did say that the price of will proceed up “substantially. ” It was back on May 1st this year when the price for this option was increased in $5,000 to $6,000. Musk had said that the complete increase could be at the $3000+ scope so that it ’therefore possible that there might be one additional price increase after this one.

He also told his Twitter followers which this had been communicated before and that customers who purchase the option sooner will obviously have the benefit of paying a bit less for it.
